I haven t sleeved a cylinder but i have sleeved the main bearing journals on an onan twin cylinder engine i was told by every automotive ms within 100 miles that the crank could not be repaired so i experimented with stainless i ground the crank main journals under size and turned sleeves to fit i then turned down the new crank to size and polished the journals put it all back together and it.
